The Malatesta Fortress
The monumental complex of the Malatesta Fortress was built between the 12th and 16th centuries in a large area obtained on the highest point of the "sasso" of Verucchio, from where you can admire a splendid panorama.

Here was born the "Mastin Vecchio" Malatesta da Verucchio, the great Guelph leader who conquered Rimini in 1295 and founded the seigniory of the same name.
