Saludecio is a charming medieval village in the province of Rimini, nestled in the rolling hills of the Conca Valley. Saludecio was an important stronghold of the Malatesta, one of the most powerful families of the Italian Middle Ages. The walls, largely restored, surround the historic center, and access is through two monumental gates: Porta Marina (which looks towards the sea) and the smaller Porta Montanara. Saludecio's location on a hillock offers spectacular views that stretch all the way to the Adriatic Sea.
