Sarsina
Sarsina is famous for being the birthplace of Titus Maccius Plautus, the great Latin playwright, who lived between 255 and 184 BC. In his honor, the Plautus Festival is held every year in the Arena Plautina. Don't miss a visit to the Basilica of San Vicinio, one of the best examples of Romanesque style, and the National Archaeological Museum, which houses archaeological finds that testify to the importance of Sarsina during the Roman period.
