Urbania
Urbania, located in the Upper Metauro Valley, is a charming village in the Marche region that combines a rich history, an important artistic heritage and a centuries-old artisan tradition. Points of interest of Urbania are: the Ducal Palace, the Barco Ducale, hunting and leisure residence of the Dukes of Urbino and the Church of the Dead, with its Crypt of the Mummies. Urbania, since the Middle Ages and then in the Renaissance, has always been a center of production of ceramics and majolica of great value. Even today, several craft workshops carry on this ancient art.
