Cathedral of San Leo
It is certainly the highest example of medieval architecture preserved in Montefeltro and is one of the most singular and important examples of Lombard-Romanesque architecture, incorporating and concealing the remains of an older religious foundation, the early medieval Cathedral, built close to the seventh century when Montefeltro (San Leo), built as a 'civitas', became the seat of a new diocese.
