Monte Cerignone
Belongs to
Valley of Conca
The town is made up of a small hamlet nestled at river level and a castle that stands on a tuff ridge. It is the latter that is worth a visit for the picturesque paved streets that climb up to the building of the ancient fortress, built in the 12th century by the first counts of Montefeltro and partly rebuilt by Francesco di Giorgio Martini at the end of the 15th century.
